This is HubClub's privacy statement. HubClub takes your privacy very seriously and will process and use information about you (the data subject) or organization in a secure manner. In this Privacy Statement, we explain which data we process and for what purpose. HubClub is the trade name of private limited company Winterhouse Consulting BV, with its registered office at (2025 GR) Haarlem at Slauerhoffstraat 83, registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 89977068.

When HubClub processes your personal data, HubClub is the controller.

When does this privacy statement apply?

This privacy statement applies to all personal data that HubClub collects and processes from data subjects in the context of the services offered, the use of the HubClub app, newsletter, the provision of data via the online contact form and/or visiting our website.

How does HubClub use your data?

Below you will find an overview of the purposes for which HubClub processes personal data about you. It also indicates which data HubClub uses for that specific purpose and what the legal basis is for processing that data and how long the data is stored by HubClub. To keep things organized, we've grouped everything by type of data flow.

1. SERVICE PROVISION, CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT AND FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION

How does HubClub obtain your personal data?

HubClub has data about you because you have provided it to us.

What are your rights?

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights with regard to your data and its processing:

Access

You can always view your own (personal) data and change it in your account if necessary. If you want to see the personal data that HubClub has recorded about you, you can submit a request for access.

Modify

If you want to make changes to the personal data that you have seen as a result of a request for access and that you cannot change yourself in your account, you can submit a request to HubClub. You can request that HubClub modifies, corrects, supplements, deletes or shields your data.

Restriction of processing

You also have the right, under certain conditions, to request HubClub to restrict the processing of your personal data.

Right to object

If a certain processing takes place on the basis of the 'legitimate interest' of HubClub or a third party, you have the right to object to that processing.

Transfer

You have the right to obtain your personal data from HubClub. HubClub will provide these in a structured and common form, which can be easily opened in other common digital systems. In this way, you can also transfer your data to another provider.

Withdrawing consent

In all cases where the basis for a particular data processing is your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent. This has no consequences for the past, but it does mean that we will no longer be allowed to process that data. As a result, HubClub may no longer be able to provide you with certain services.

Comment by HubClub

A request can be sent to hello@hub-club.world. HubClub will comply with your request as soon as possible and in any case no later than one (1) month after HubClub has received such a request. If HubClub rejects your request, we will indicate in our reply why the request was rejected.

Recipients of the personal data

HubClub does not sell or rent your data to or with third parties. HubClub only shares your data with third parties if this is necessary on the basis of the agreement you have concluded with HubClub, or if you have given permission to do so, or if this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. HubClub remains responsible for this processing. In order to implement the agreement, your personal data will be shared with, among others, companies that provide cloud storage for HubClub, as well as other companies from which HubClub obtains services, such as MailChimp for sending the newsletter, KnowWork for using the app, e-curring, TheOfficeManager, Exact online, for taking care of the financial administration.

The data may be passed on to:

  • Processors

  • Parties involved in the execution or fulfilment of an agreement between you and HubClub

  • External advisors

It is possible that HubClub is obliged to provide your data to a third party, for example on the basis of a legal obligation.

Transfer to third countries or international organisations

For (for example) technical and operational reasons, it may be necessary for your (personal) data to be transferred to HubClub affiliates outside the European Economic Area. Because the regulations in the field of privacy protection there may not offer the same protection as within the European Economic Area, HubClub will use the EU Model Clauses to protect your privacy as much as possible. If this is not possible, HubClub will ask your permission to transfer your (personal) data to countries without an adequate level of protection. You can revoke this consent at any time.

What are cookies and how does HubClub use them?

Cookies are small pieces of (text) information that are sent to your browser when you visit the HubClub website and then stored on the hard disk or in the memory of your computer, tablet, mobile phone or other device (hereinafter: "Device"). The cookies placed via the HubClub website cannot damage your Device or the files stored on it. When we talk about 'cookies', we don't just mean these small pieces of (text) information, but also similar techniques with which information is collected, such as device fingerprinting.

Can this Privacy Statement be amended?

This privacy statement was last amended on 11 October 2024. If HubCLub makes a change to its privacy statement, we will make a new version available for inspection on the website and notify you electronically, for example via the app or by e-mail. If we intend to use your personal data in a way that differs from the way it was collected at the time the data was collected, we will notify you and give you the opportunity to choose whether or not we may use your personal data in that new way.
